Star USA Federal Credit Union offers a highly competitive home equity loan program. We currently finance up to 90% of the appraised value of your home, less your first mortgage (if applicable). ZERO interest for the first 90 days and this loan has a VISA Platinum card so you may access your home equity loan at any time. Convenience checks are also available. Rates are determined quarterly at the prime rate LESS .25%. The term is 25 years with advances available for the first 10 years of the loan.
