Student Loans
Star USA FCU currently offers Federal Subsidized Stafford Loans, Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, and Federal PLUS Loans. The Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans are based on the financial need of the student and currently have a variable interest rate that is capped at 8.25%. The Federal PLUS Loan is for the creditworthy parent/step parent of the student and is designed to help pay for school expenses when they exceed the lending limits of the Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans.
