FIRST MORTGAGE (10-30 YEARS)
Star USA Federal Credit Union offers a variety of mortgage products to meet your needs.
We have very competitive fixed and variable rates as well as terms from balloons to 30 years.
Closing costs are paid by the member and vary depending on the state you live in, the loan amount, and the term.

Typically, we can close your mortgage loan within 30 days.
FIXED SECOND MORTGAGE
Star USA Federal Credit Union offers fixed-rate second mortgages to meet your needs.
Competitive rates as well as terms from 12 to 180 months. Star USA offers options to finance up to 80% LTV.
The maximum loan amount is $75,000.00, and the minimum is $10,000.00.

VACATION HOME/SECOND HOME LOANS
Star USA FCU currently offers loans on vacations and second homes.
We consider up to 80% of the purchase price or the appraised value, whichever is lesser.

UNIMPROVED PROPERTY
Star USA FCU currently offers unimproved property loans.
“Unimproved” means that the property cannot have any type of existing buildings such as homes, mobile homes, barns, sheds, etc.
The maximum amount is $50,000.00 or 80% of the appraised value, whichever is lesser, up to 180 months. We can also take your application by phone.
HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT (HELOC)
Star USA Federal Credit Union offers a highly competitive home equity loan program.
We currently finance up to 90% of the appraised value of your home, less your first mortgage (if applicable).
Reduced rate for the first 90 days and this loan has a Visa Platinum Card, so you may access your home equity loan at any time. Convenience checks are also available. Rates are determined quarterly at the prime rate LESS 0.25%.
NO closing costs unless an appraisal is required.
The term is 25 years, with advances available for the first 10 years of the loan.

CONSTRUCTION LOANS
Yes, we offer Construction Loans!
Draws can be taken at 7 different inspection phases over a 9-month period, with accrued interest payments due at the end of each month.
An origination fee of 1% is assessed; however, this fee will be applied towards the closing costs if you choose the construction to permanent loan option with Star USA FCU.
